Hello folks

My name is Tanya Rastogi. I am a Freelance Artist. I am yet to explore an artist in me.
As a child, I always aspired to become an Artist and wondered how would I ever be able to follow my heart and fulfill my dreams and aspirations. But, I had never learnt the art professionally. 

My journey comprised hardships and was full of obstacles. The only thing that remained constant in me was my love and passion for art, my paints and brushes. Art to me is a vivacious way to express oneself. It manoeuvres me into a different world - A WORLD full of love, passion and colour.  
After plethora of hardships, I finally decided to do what I love the most and turned it into my profession to eventually become an entrepreneur. 

I always believed that a person should choose a career that makes him/her happy because it is something that resides within them throughout their life and if it doesn’t give them happiness it is not worthy. Money can buy everything but not the creativity of an artist. Therefore, I started my own Instagram handle named KALAKRITI.
Kalakriti means work of art. I started this account just on a trial basis to give my passion a different path, I never knew, I would be able to take it up as a profession and relish it  so much.
My journey started with seven sample pieces of cushion cover sets and then there was no looking back. I’m blessed to have an incredible and supporting family and congenial friends, who have guided me throughout my voyage. Kalakriti is a blissful world to me that I have nurtured for one and a half years now. It has not only enhanced my work but has also helped me grow and become a better person. It has made me more independent and confident. Here, I have worked on customisation basis according to the needs of the customers. I paint on different mediums or I should say, I paint on almost everything, be it canvas, wall, fabric, glass, wood, and the list goes on. I put in a piece of my heart and thoughts in every artwork I display, hence everything that you see on here has a part of me in it.
